We are a grass roots membership association, driven by our desire for cannabis farmers to take their rightful place in California's agricultural community.

We are organized to support cultivators, patients, small-business owners, and ordinary citizens who seek the respectful and responsible integration of cannabis into California’s agriculture industry.

We seek a path to full legitimacy for the cannabis industry, and we’re pursuing a long-term strategy for a safe, equitable, and environmentally responsible future for cannabis farmers, producers, and the communities in which they live and work.

It's Time

No more isolation. Come out, take pride in our farms, our crops, our contributions to our families and our communities. Celebrate cannabis’ long and deep heritage. Let’s roll up our sleeves and work together, create together, and stand together.

Cannabis prohibition is ending. What’s Next?

California has passed new laws redefining cannabis as an “agricultural product,” and subjecting it to a comprehensive state licensing system for commercial cultivation, manufacture, retail sale, transport, distribution, delivery, and testing. These laws will be put into effect January 1st, 2018, and will likely be joined by new laws allowing for recreational adult use.

We are working with you, members of our community, and our elected representatives to align the regulatory frameworks of our counties with the new state laws. We are committed to identifying the ideal intersection between public health and safety, environmental responsibility, appropriate land use, and personal and patient rights. And we are committed to doing this with respect for everyone in our community—including those who don’t yet know us and support what we do.
