Time to Revisit our Basics!
Come hear what the working group has up their sleeves and how it all fits in to our core objectives.
~ADVOCACY - In the wake of recent BOS actions, what's next? Initiatives, behind the scenes negotiation, litigation options? An update on Code Enforcement activities and practices.
~EDUCATION - Winning hearts and minds - whichever advocacy path we choose, continuing to educate the public (and reduce resistance) remains critical. We have some really powerful plans in the works!
~COLLABORATION - What does our community most need - programs, courses, resources. How can we work together better to support each other?
Since before the Wall Fire, we've been trying to get one of our many county fire entities to come present to us..... to help us understand how to be smart before, during and after wildfires .... finally got one to agree (yes, they do really seem to think we eat our children) but too late for this month. So we'll have relevent speakers next month, including how to insure your property against loss (yes, including your crop).
Please respond to the (very brief!) recent survey Margaret sent out.
Please BRING A FOLDING CHAIR to use or even to donate.
Please PARK ON THE STREET, not in the very small parking lot.
